In addition to our core curriculum, we offer Career and Technical Education (CTE), teaching specific career skills to students, to help them better prepare for their future after high school. CTE consists of a mix of introductory classes, hands-on experience and application tests. CTE is unique in that it offers students the ability to develop a specific set of skills which they can apply to a broad range of scenarios when they enter the workforce. Each unique CTE Program of Study offers opportunities for students to earn industry-based certifications (IBC), from national governing bodies or leading organizations. Students earning IBCs possess the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in a specific career and lets employers know that they are experienced in real-world industry skills.
