Message From The Superintendent
As Superintendent/CEO of TPHS, I am excited to announce the opening of two Triumph campuses in San Antonio and Abilene for the beginning of the 2024/2025 school year.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) approved the expansion of the Laredo and El Paso Charters in April 2023, and since then, have been working hard to ensure these campuses open on time. It has been a team effort, with our corporate staff, board members, principals, and teachers all helping to bring this dream to fruition.
The opening of our two new schools signifies that we can bring our exceptional program to even more students who can benefit from it. The addition of our new schools represents our growing legacy and is evidence that our mission to provide remarkable education that prepares our students for success in college, career, and life is gaining momentum. Together, as we have done with every campus opening, we will create a future filled with growth, learning, and success for every member of our TPHS community.
Campus Facts
- The San Antonio Campus is located at 735 Fredericksburg Road in the Woodlawn Ave. neighborhood.
- The Abilene Campus is located at 221 Oak Street in South Downtown Abilene (SoDA district).
- Both campuses are strategically located in the communities that align with our mission and vision to serve students who have traditionally been underserved.
- The Abilene and San Antonio campuses will provide a combination of self-paced, computer-based learning and teacher-led instruction. This approach will help our students prepare for the State Assessment tests. Additionally, it will assist students who need credit recovery to graduate on time.
- Students enrolled in these new campuses will have access to the same exceptional educational opportunities available at our other 9 campuses.

College Career and Military Readiness (CCMR)
Sergeant Melody Fierro visited the McAllen campus and talked to students about the diverse opportunities the military offers. Thank you Sgt. Fierro for inspiring our students with your dedication and service.
Meet Our New Principals
Mr. Florence
Brian Florence is our Abilene campus principal and served as both a principal and an assistant principal for the past three years. He has five years of teaching experience in math and 3rd grade.
Mr. Florence holds a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Memphis and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Arizona.
Outside of the school environment, Mr. Florence is an avid reader and film enthusiast, always on the lookout for a good book or movie. He’s also a proud cat lover with two feline companions, Saint and Ocean, who bring joy to his life. Mr. Florence’s love for adventure extends beyond the classroom as he enjoys traveling the country and plans to visit all 50 states by the year 2050. His expertise and dedication make him a valuable asset to our Triumph community as we work together to shape a brighter future for our students.
Mrs. Salinas
Geneva Salinas is our San Antonio campus principal and has been an educator for 18 years. She has been principal for 9 years, 4 years at St. Mathews Catholic School and 5 years with Somerset ISD. She also served as an assistant principal and a classroom teacher at Somerset ISD.
Mrs. Salinas graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with a Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Education, and earned a Masters in School Administration and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.
She loves spending time with her family and traveling. Mrs. Salinas is a lifelong learner and has a passion for
supporting students, families, and staff. She was born and raised in San Antonio and is honored to serve her beloved city and the Triumph community as principal
