McAllen, Texas – (February 26, 2018) – Student Alternatives Program, Inc. District officials along with campus staff and administration officially announced their new name and unveiled their new logo and brand. The official announcement was made at a press conference held at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce.

The new name – Triumph Public High Schools was announced amongst numerous education officials and community leaders. The Triumph logo and brand is intended to convey an established and institutional personality. The subject matter was generated to inspire a sense of accomplishment, success, and stability. The purpose of the design was to convey an academic symbol, which personified the personality and mission of Student Alternatives Program, Inc. through eye-catching color and design. The style was developed to appear approachable and empowering with tones of blue and orange to project a youthful energy.

The brand focus is based on the collective perspectives within their team, who believe that Triumph is capable of providing quality education to students struggling to navigate the challenges of a traditional educational environment. Fortifying the organization’s mission.
“It’s time for change. Change is how we define progress and progress is growth. It was time to focus on who we are and convey this to our prospective students and families. This new brand resonates exactly who we are; together we can face the challenges of change. I invite students to be a part of the evolution and transformation of our programs. Together we will Triumph”, said Superintendent/CEO Frances Berrones Johnson.

Triumph Public High Schools provides community-based alternative educational programs for non-traditional students and at-risk youth. This Public Charter High School offers students a non-traditional setting in which teachers are free to be creative and innovative, and students are free to explore their full potential with flexible morning and afternoon schedules, administrative guidance, and a one-on-one approach to academics. Triumph Public High Schools prides itself in providing over 25 years of quality, non-traditional education in Texas. They are TEA Certified by the Texas Education Agency and offer a tuition-free, focused curriculum.

The roll-out and of the new name and brand is being implemented in phases, with the first roll-out in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, where they currently have schools in McAllen, Mercedes, San Benito, and Brownsville. Other Triumph Public High School campuses include Laredo, El Paso, and Lubbock, Texas. They offer open enrollment year-round, where students can apply and register for classes at any time during the year.

The vision of Triumph Public High Schools is to guide all students to be successful life-long learners, be respectful and responsible citizens who will continue to triumph throughout their lives.
